In this era of the Internet and 24/7 media coverage, one is hard-pressed to be able to escape newsflash tickers pulling us to various different directions in our perceptions and beliefs.

Elcometer's products and services are not the cheapest. This is because we believe in giving customers better products and nicer services. Yeah, yeah, yeah ..... I know, you've heard enough of the cliche' remarks ..... such as, "You get what you pay for".

Perhaps the bigger picture needs to be addressed. Perhaps some hypocrisy needs to be squashed, as we tackle the economic recession head-on, without resorting to political talking points and philosophical differences.

We have occasionally pooled some money together every so often to play the lottery around here at Elcometer USA. Each time that happens, certain folks are glad to declare their plans to enjoy the winnings by quitting their jobs and globe-trotting around the world. They would declare their plans to pay off their debt and buy some new stuff.

There seems to be more and more supposedly "experts" and "gurus" in our society as of late. Perhaps it is because of freely available resources like "Wikipedia" and the Internet in general. Or perhaps it is just the nature of a few select shameless individuals whom I seem to come across recently.

It is very exciting to be making the right calls. In my case, reflecting on my previous blog entries, 'When is it Not about the Money ?' and 'How Rewarding it is to be Involved with Student-Athletes', the news of Tom Izzo staying put at Michigan State certainly solidifies my take on those matters.
