I got a great customer email to start off my day and felt it would be a great subject for my first blog entry. It was from a customer who had sent in a product for repair and certification.

He said: "I consider your repair time & service to be rather extraordinary. 30-60 days for manufactures repairs is not unusual these days. Just in time, as it will be used with the resurfacing of the “flight deck” on the Navy’s newest aircraft carrier, the USS RONALD REAGAN (CVN 76)."

I have known for years that we make every effort to offer the best repair and calibration lab in the industry. It was really nice to see that customers appreciate the effort.

Too many companies promise excellent customer service and, when a problem happens, fall flat on their face. The true measure of a great company is how they perform when their is a problem or service issue. Problems, in my opinion, are opportunities to shine in the eye of the customer and the fine people in our repair department proved it again today.

I want to thank everyone in our repair department for their hard work and dedication to continual improvement. Your efforts have been and will be essential to our success.

We are off to the Powder Coating West show in Las Vegas and are looking forward to meeting both old and new friends.
